She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
Proverbs 31:25
The declaration “I Am Still in the Fight” is more than a theme, it is a living testimony of faith, perseverance, and spiritual resilience of the women of this ministry. Rooted in 1 Timothy 6:12 “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, as reflected in this year’s convention. It has been a journey marked by growth, unity and unwavering commitment to God’s call, even in challenging seasons. It was a year where we saw growth through our small groups. In 2025, the Women’s Ministry embraced intentional discipleship through the formation of small groups. Thanks to our Pastor, Dr. Dalton Jenkins who answered the call for the Relational Small Groups (RSG) initiative. This structure was designed to foster deeper connection, accountability and spiritual growth among the women. As leaders, are grateful for the opportunity to shepherd more effectively and provide opportunity for the women to grow in their faith and be more committed to serving God and strengthened the ministry as a whole. By dividing the ministry into smaller more intimate groups, everyone was given space to be seen, heard, prayed for and supported. We used these groups to encourage our ladies to live out their faith boldly while uplifting each other. The impact of the small group has been profound as we have seen some of our ladies stepping out of their comfort zone boldly with confidence and renewed faith. Each group is encouraged to have consistent communication via digital platform and monthly face-to-face meetings allowing for ministry updates, feedbacks, prayers, scripture reflections, along with birthday accomplishments celebration and acknowledgments. As a result, attendance, and members engagement improved noticeably throughout the year. As we reflect on 2025, we celebrate not just accomplishments, but endurance. We celebrate ladies who chose faith over fear, prayer over despair, and perseverance over quitting. This convention stands as a reminder that no matter the season, the assignment remains the same: To Fight the Good Fight of Faith. With hearts encouraged and spirits renewed, the Women’s Ministry moves forward-still standing, still trusting God and still in the fight. Small Groups
Get Connected. Go Deeper.
Minister Andrea expressed her excitement about the direction of the small groups and the continued growth taking place within the ministry. She shared her commitment to supporting the women as they strengthen their faith, deepen their spiritual connections and remain actively engaged in small groups participation-uplifting one another as they continue to fight the good fight of faith. Sister Valerie- shared that the small groups have fostered deeper relationships while nurturing spiritual growth and maturity in her faith journey. She is encouraged to engage daily in the word, focus on scripture reflection, and strengthen her memorization of God’s promises and internalizing God’s teaching through consistent communication within the group (PS. 119:11) ‘’thy words have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.” She has experienced increased encouragement, accountability, and stronger sense of sisterhood as they uplift each other. Missionary Grayson shared that the small group experience has deeply impacted her life by creating a strong foundation of prayer and spiritual support. Walking alongside her sisters in faith has reinforced the power of intercessory prayer within the small group. Sister Judine expressed her appreciation for the meaningful bonds formed through the small group gatherings, particularly during the fourth Sunday meetings. She values the opportunity to celebrate birthdays, fellowship, and connect on a deeper level while creating moments that are often not possible during regular Sunday services.
