Dr. Dalton Jenkins

Lead Pastor

Dr. Dalton Jenkins has been a dedicated bi-vocational church planter based in Yonkers, NY, for 22 years. As the founding pastor of Bethel Temple of Praise, Dr. Jenkins led a group of four families in planting the church in Yonkers, where he continues to serve faithfully.

Dr. Jenkins has been married to Jacqueline for 33 years, and together they have two sons, Jonathan and Justin. He exemplifies servant leadership, empowering others to fulfill their God-given purpose. He currently serves as a cluster leader for churches in NY & PA in his denomination and as a board member of Huntington University.

Academically, he has pursued a broad and impactful education, earning an Associate of Science in Business Administration, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, a Master of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling, a Master of Divinity, an MBA, and a Doctor of Ministry specializing in Pastoral Care and Urban Missions.

In his professional career, Dr. Jenkins has over 30+ years of experience in accounting, finance, and human resources. He is also a College Professor at the University of New Haven, where he teaches business management, accounting, and finance.

For over 40 years, His devotion to God and people shines through his preaching, teaching, and ministry, as he lives to honor God by pursuing His will and purpose in every aspect of his life.
