Adam Where Are You?
Jun 21, 2026 • Dr. Dalton Jenkins
Sin has a way of making us hide, from God, from truth, and from ourselves. When God asked Adam in the Garden of Eden where he was, it was not a question of geography. It was an invitation to stop running and face the truth. Just as Adam hid after his disobedience, people today hide behind careers, routines, and religious activity to avoid dealing with what is broken inside. Like Zacchaeus in the sycamore tree, many stay close enough to feel something but far enough away to avoid real change. Jesus does not wait for anyone to clean themselves up before He comes to them. He came to seek and to save the lost, and that includes every one of us. The invitation is open: stop hiding, come clean before God, and let Him do what only He can do.
